The 5 1/2 foot Banjo Bench gets its inspiration from The Crooked Road Music Trail, a 250 mile route that winds through the country roads of Virginia. The trail brings travelers to venues around the state that emphasize Bluegrass and Country music. Floyd County, and specifically the town of Floyd, are major stops on the Crooked Road Music Trail.
The Banjo Bench is made of pine and stained with a quality exterior stain. If intended for outside use, the legs are made of pressure-treated wood. The bench can be converted to a porch swing by removing the legs and adapting the arms to allow the addition of swing chains.
The wood-burned banjo image is colored with a transparent acrylic wash. It is an original piece of artwork signed and dated by the artist.
The Banjo Sleigh Bench has been purchased and is on display at the Floyd Country Store in downtown Floyd. Also on display and for sale at the Floyd Country Store, is the Tractor & Barn Sleigh Bench.
