The Parlor Kaleidoscope is a hand crafted kaleidoscope made from 100 year old oak salvaged from a recycled barn in Floyd County, Va. The kaleidoscope inside can be viewed by pointing it toward the natural light or, if tilted down, can be viewed with the internal LED's. The internal lights come on when the unit is tilted downward and goes off automatically when the unit is returned to the level position. With the batteries in the base supplying power for the internal lights, the kaleidoscope can be viewed without the need of any external light sources.
