After taking boards off of an old house on my neighbor's property to build picture frames, I found the response to these old frames to be favorable, so I took orders for additional frames. Not having enough wood, I put an ad in the local paper asking people to allow me to dismantle their old barns. I received several calls from people who wanted old barns and sheds out of the way. The most recent barn taken apart was a 130 year old barn on Raven Road in Floyd County. We dismantled it and are in the process of converting the old logs to reusable boards.
